Richardson Pole Fitness Classes
PFS has a variety of classes to suit a variety of women, budgets, and taste. Our class schedule is shown below and you can read a description of our classes, specialty classes, workshops, and private parties are on our "Classes Page." All classes must have a RSVP if you are not a member and prepaid in advance (no exceptions). Please call or stop by for more information on classes, current promotions, and custom options.
* In order to remain professional, provide qualtiy service, and provide clients with quality instruction time clients arriving to class 5 minutes after class start time will not be allowed in the pole studio. Clients will need to wait in the gym's waiting area or come back to the next class. We apologize for any inconveniences.
All guest must RSVP on our MINDBODY SCHEDULE (click RSVP tab) at least 24 hours in advance before attending classes!!!

Class Descriptions:
Each pole level class usually takes 4-6 weeks to master before moving on to the next level. If you want to perfect your pole fitness craft it is extremely important that you take other alternative work out classes that PFS has to offer.
  • Pole Level 1/Beginner is an introductory class for students who are new to pole. This class focuses on four basic pole tricks to stretch and strengthen the legs, back, and shoulders. Emphasis is placed on being sensual and the art of balance. All Levels welcomed!
  • Pole Level 2/Continuing Beginner is a continuation class for pole level 1including four more pole tricks. The emphasis of this course is on refining and building endurance in strength and standing poses. It does not include the shoulder stand. The basic Anusara Yoga principles of alignment are presented. This class is suitable for students who have practiced other styles of yoga or pole, but it is not suitable for those who have never studied yoga or pole before.
  • Pole Transition Level 3/Intermediate focuses on refining shape the standing poses and learning basic upside down tricks, simple back bending poses on the pole, and the pole hand stand using the Anusara Yoga principles of alignment. It is recommended that students complete both Pole 1 and Pole 2 before taking Pole 3.
  • Pole Vixen Level 4/Advanced continues with refinements and an additional four more pole tricks studied in pole 1, 2, and 3 and introduces full arm balance (handstand), hanging on the pole with only the usage of arms, hanging on the pole with only the usage forearm balance, and hanging onto the pole using only inner thigh and leg balance. Additional back bend poses are also included. Regular pole practice during other class times is strongly encouraged. Permission of the instructor is required.
  • Glutes and Booties-This one hour workshop is great exercise for the buttocks muscles, firming the buttocks, and learning the latest “booty shaking” tricks. If you want to have a more toned, tight, and firm butt this is the class for you.
  • Hip Hop Pole- Choreographed hip hop dance moves with the pole. An exciting workout that is great for cardio, fierce, and sexy all at the same time. All Levels welcomed!
  • Pole'lesque- Choreographed burlesque dance moves with the basic pole work. An exciting workout that is great for cardio, fierce, and sexy all at the same time.All Levels welcomed!
  • Open Pole-The student can practice with their own moves and this class is a free style class for those students wishing to get better. Minimal to no instruction available. All Levels welcomed!
  • Sensual Dance-This class focuses on not what you look like that makes you sensual, seductive and sexy but how you feel about yourself on the inside. Sensual Dance goes beyond cardio strip tease and makes the art of moving sexy accessible to all. The slow erotic dance moves, holistic body approach, and romantic seduction secrets turn every real woman into an erotic sensual woman. All Levels welcomed!
  • Chair Dancing- This class encourages health and fitness for active people or those whose physical condition, restricted mobility, or age, limits their participation in conventional forms of exercise. This class will also boost the self-esteem of women and teach women how to be seductive and sensual in a classy form. All Levels welcomed!
  • Zumba-Zumba® fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms, and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got Zumba® All Levels welcomed!
  • Pole Bootcamp-You’ve heard of boot camp fitness classes and we know you have heard of pole fitness classes, well here is a new one… incorporate pole, cardio, strength /core training and stretching and you get 90 minutes of PFS Pole Boot Camp. As you’re gaining strength and building muscle with all of your pole classes, Pole Boot Camp will show you the importance of the endurance and strength that it takes for pole dance fitness... Be prepared to work hard and feel fatigued when you complete our boot camp. It is for ALL SHAPES, SIZES, and FITNESS LEVELS! Come and meet new friends in a group setting and step your pole game up.
    Pole boot camp will be taught by our professional certified personal trainer and advanced pole fitness instructor shak. All Levels welcomed!
